Deer Burritos

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 packs of Kinder’s Mexican Seasoning
  • 1 can black beans strained and rinsed.
  • 1 can green chiles
  • Mexican Rice (https://gracefulmary.blog/2024/12/13/mexican-rice/)
  • Sour Cream to taste
  • Flour tortillas
  • Taco sauce
  • Pepper jack cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack will work)

Instructions:

  1. In large skillet add venison, pork, and onions. When meat starts to brown add both packs of Mexican seasoning and garlic. Stir to blend.
  2. Add black beans and Chiles and mix.
  3. Once heated through you can build your burritos.
  4. Lay out flour tortilla and layer with sour cream to taste, Mexican rice, meat, cheese, and taco sauce.
  5. Wrap burrito. In a skillet on low heat add burrito and toast on each side.
  6. Serve while hot.
